This is one of my favorites! A Google cake for the teacher of a computers class. It was a ton of fun to make ad it came out great! It's a yellow sheet cake on the bottom and styrofoam on top (this was just so that people could still look at the design after the cake was cut). Both pieces are covered in fondant.
Hey there! Every year I like to enter a cake (and sometimes cookies as well :-)) into the state fair! Well, it's about that time of year and I'm starting to get excited! Here's a look at what I did last year-- It won a blue ribbon!!! (this is not actual cake. The fair suggests you use styrofoam so that the cake doesn't get gross when it has to sit in the showroom for 3 weeks!)

Question of the Day: What your favorite State Fair food?
This is a cake my brother helped me make for my grandma's birthday. It is a two-layer red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and filling. Simple, but beautiful, and perfect for the occasion!
These are some cupcakes I made with friends in a Home Ec. class. The Butterflies are yellow cake and the Sunflowers are chocolate. Both have vanilla frosting. The bright colors and beautiful nature scenes are perfect for springtime!
These are some cupcakes I made to celebrate Valentine's day with a math study group. I used some special cupcake tins they had in the grocery store in February. The cupcakes are Red Velvet with a cream cheese frosting swirl.
This is a cake I made for a 15th birthday party. It's a yellow cake with vanilla frosting. This was a fun challenge! It was one of my first carved cakes. And what girl wouldn't love a purse on her birthday? :)
